We visited Chibo for the okonomiyaki, and it did not disappoint. The food was simple, delicious, and cooked right in front of us at the counter, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Watching the all-female team of chefs prepare each dish with skill and energy was a highlight of the meal. ...Our chef, Makito M., was friendly, entertaining, and engaging throughout the evening. She made the experience feel personal and fun, and we really enjoyed interacting with her while she cooked. Combined with the excellent food, it made for a memorable dining experience. We would happily return for both the okonomiyaki and the welcoming atmosphere.

I had never tried okonomiyaki before, so this was my first experience — and I really enjoyed it. Although I can’t compare it to others, this was genuinely good and something I’d happily have again. I ordered the Hiroshima Okonomiyaki along with a Japanese green tea. The okonomiyaki was delicious; I ...never imagined that combination of ingredients could work so well. The staff were friendly and pleasant, the service was good, and the place was clean. The okonomiyaki itself was huge — definitely more than one person needs — but still worth it. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant, located right in the heart of Dotonbori.

Our cruise ship was docked in Kobe Port, tour guide took a bus load of us first to Osaka Castle and then to the Dotombori main shopping street and left us there for 1 1/2 hrs to do our own thing. We met two young ladies from Canada who knew the whereabouts and showed us to a typical Dotombori local ...' street ' style kitchen but indoors. We had to go up to the first floor, the whole place was full of 'locals' sat along a ' kitchen bar ' where the chefs cook in front/opposite you. We pointed at the two pictures on the menu, one was a mixed seafood dish and the other a Kobe Beef/Wagyu, both super delicious and went down well with four glasses of Japanese beer! Service was friendly even though they didn't understand a word of English! Short wait time for the two dishes. Good value for the food/experience.

Jpan cuisine is fantastic and this restaurant for lunch was just amazing! The service and atmosphere excellent and the food! WOW!

Perfect location for tasting a great Okonomiyaki in Osaka! I don't awaiting much time for sitting but the restaurant was full of people and it's recommended have a reservation. The price is good for the location in the middle of Dotonbori and the staff was friendly.
