“Premium yakiniku experience in Kyoto”
If you’re looking for a premium yakiniku experience in Kyoto, Yakiniku Ichiba Koji Kiyamachi is definitely one to remember. The highlight for me was the A5 Japanese beef—beautifully marbled, incredibly tender, and so rich that every bite practically melted on the grill. The presentation was also go...rgeous, with different cuts carefully arranged and labeled. Seeing those thick, beautifully marbled pieces hit the grill was a whole experience. I especially loved how the beef didn’t need much seasoning. Just grilling it to the right doneness was enough to bring out that deep flavor. The smoky char from the grill paired perfectly with the richness of the A5 beef. The atmosphere of the restaurant is like traditional Japanese architecture. The location around Kiyamachi in Kyoto makes it a great spot to include in a night out around the area. The restaurant is in Kiyamachi, Kyoto, at 3-154-1 Tennocho. “The best yakiniku course”
Had the Kinkaku Course at Ichiba Koji Yakiniku and everything was delicious! 🥩✨ The highlight for me was definitely the sukiyaki-style meat ! it was incredibly tender, rich, and practically melted in my mouth. The quality of the wagyu was impressive, and every dish in the course was beautifully pres...ented and satisfying. The portions were generous, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive. If you’re a wagyu and yakiniku lover, the Kinkaku Course is definitely worth trying, especially for the amazing sukiyaki meat! ❤️

“Excellent Wagyu Yakiniku in a Traditional Kyoto Setting”
We had a wonderful dining experience at Yakiniku Ichiba Koji Kiyamachi. The meat was fresh, tender, beautifully marbled, and presented with great attention to detail. Grilling the different cuts of Wagyu at our table was both enjoyable and delicious. The traditional Kyoto-style wooden interior crea...ted a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. This is an excellent choice for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality Japanese yakiniku in the Kiyamachi area. I would happily return on my next visit to Kyoto.

“Delicious yakiniku in a traditional Kyoto setting”
I had the Kinkaku OMAKASE course, and everything was delicious. We started with MIZORE SAKE and matcha beer. The MIZORE SAKE actually freezes as it’s being poured, so it was really refreshing and delicious. The matcha flavor also goes surprisingly well with Kirin beer. Of course, all the meat was ...tender and delicious, and it practically melted in my mouth. The sukiyaki was especially good. It was cooked right in front of us, and having it with the egg yolk and steamed rice was such a great combination. The meat also paired surprisingly well with sake. The staff were very kind and attentive throughout our meal. The restaurant is in a renovated traditional Kyoto machiya, so you can really enjoy the atmosphere of Kyoto while having yakiniku. If you’re looking for a good yakiniku experience in Kyoto, I would definitely recommend this place!
