“Amazing Kyoto Local Spot”
We got lucky by stumbling upon this restaurant one night and we’re so glad we did. It was the best food in Kyoto with such friendly staff. They had an English menu available and were very accommodating for our limited Japanese language. We ordered a few Al La carte items and the ramen was so delicio...us. 10/10 recommend!

“Small authentic Kyoto Neighbourhood restaurant”
Excellent local Japanese food. One of our absolute favorites local to the KUU Hotel The dishes were cooked in front of us by four talented chefs. Enjoy the variety of Ramen, Ky, sashimi, and fried chicken. Love the backstreet location. The staff was helpful.

“A hidden treasure ”
The best food we had in Kyoto! Down a non-descript street not far from Kyoto station. Don't be fooled by the surroundings - this is grade A. Great service, not expensive, and the food is wonderful. Have the eggplant!

“Best Japanese cuisine”
Just came back from this restaurant with a full stomag. The staf can’t speak really good English but they try and do their best for you. We had fried chicken, salmon avocado salad, 7 types of sushi, 7 types of sashimi, roast beef and 4 ginger ale for 7500 yen. Portions are big enough and the taste w...as amazing. Also a good vibe in the restaurant with lots of local people having a good time

Hidden gem , great ambience and you can order a 7 course meal for 2500 yen . It's hidden in a isolated alley way , it's pretty crowded when I got here
