“The Most Amazing Meal!”
The restaurant is located in the heart of Kobe. It seats a limited number of guests so I highly recommend making a reservation. This location had counter sests in the main room and seating in a beautiful private room. We reserved the private room (6 adults and 3 children). We were seated counter-st...yle in the private room. Each couple had a chef preparing their meals on teppanyaki-style iron griddles. The three chefs cooked everything in front of us. This is food art in action! Watching them prepare the meal was such a wonderful experience as you see and hear the beef searing. The taste... OH MY GOODNESS! The A5 Kobe Beef is AMAZING! It literally melts in your mouth. We all gasped in awe as we each tasted our first bite. This meal was outstanding! The service was exceptional! The chefs are wonderful. Watching them carefully slice the beef and prepare our meal was special. The whole experience was amazing and we could not stop talking about how good the beef was. 100% Recommend this restaurant. This meal was exceptionally, mouth-watering, delicious!

“Wonderful meal”
After hearing so much about Kobe beef over the years, I finally decided to experience it in Kobe itself — and it certainly lived up to its reputation. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt special. The restaurant takes great pride in explaining the origins, grading and preparation of Kobe... beef, which only adds to the anticipation. Watching Chef K. Onoyama prepare the meal directly in front of us was a pleasure in itself. The precision, attention to detail and respect for the ingredients were evident throughout. The beef was exceptional. Richly marbled, incredibly tender and full of flavour, yet surprisingly delicate. What struck me most was how clean and refined the taste was despite the richness. This is not simply expensive beef; it is genuinely different. The meal was accompanied by fresh vegetables, a light soup and tea, all thoughtfully prepared and allowing the beef to remain the star of the show. Chef K. Onoyama was professional, engaging and clearly passionate about his craft. A special mention must go to Nairu Oda, whose warmth, attentiveness and genuine hospitality elevated the entire experience. She struck the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout the meal. Service of this calibre is often what separates a good restaurant from a memorable one, and Nairu was a significant part of why this visit was so enjoyable. Yes, Kobe beef is expensive, and no one could describe this as an inexpensive lunch. However, when travelling to Kobe, experiencing authentic Kobe beef prepared by skilled chefs is one of those occasions where the memory stays with you long after the bill has been paid. A memorable dining experience, outstanding service, and undoubtedly one of the highlights of our visit to Kobe.

“Great meal”
We had made a prior reservation a month before. We could find the restaurant easily. The staff were attentive and professional. The food was absolutely amazing, not just the beef but the sides as well. The chef was excellent, helpful and knowledgeable. Altogether a great meal, we would definitely co...me back again if we ever return to Kobe.

“Amazing”
This was my first time trying Kobe steak and it was amazing. We had a warm welcome, a nice seat at the Teppanki table and the best quality beef I have ever tasted. Each course was simply a taste sensation. What an experience

“Excellent Kobe meat menu!”
Kobe Steak Restaurant Royal Mouriya is located in Chinatown neighborhood, in the center of Kobe, an industrial and Port city in Honshu, the main island of Japan. It is a restaurant, where you can eat the well know meat of Kobe. Fantastic! Really, we ate a menu, which includes an appetizer, a soup, a... salad (all with Kobe meat) and the main dish: Kobe beef finest rib eye steak with vegetables! Wonderful! We enjoyed the meat, it was exceptional! Also, you can sit in front of the chef, which is cooking the meat for you at the moment! Incredible experience! Also, I could drink a white wine from Hokkaido. An unforgettable experience! Top in Japan!
