神戸ステーキレストラン モーリヤ 凜

We went to what we now know is another branch of this restaurant, they were fully booked, so a waitress took us 100 yards down the road and up in the lift to the 2nd floor where they have another restaurant. This one was a little smaller but more cosy. You have your own personal chef, cooking exclus...ively for you on a Teppanyaki grill right in front of you. We had a Kobe and a Wagyu steak to share and compare the difference. This I recommend. It is more than beef, nice appetiser, lovely crsipy garlic chips with a variety of fresh vegetables cooked right in front of you and served at the perfect temperature. I would say this is a little expensive by Japanese and local standards but worth every Yen.

We tried both Kobe and Wagyu beef and was not disappointed. No reservation was required and was able to sit down in shorts. However the experience was beyond expectations. Food, service, and staff were friendly and very helpful. Mouriya sincr 1885 has 5 locations and was told they each served ...same menu and pricing so no surprises. With so many places to choose from I feel this was a solid choice for the money. Yes it is pricey. For myself, wife and 9 year old grandson we spent over 100,000 yen. Was well worth splurging on ourselves.

This is not cheap place by any measure. It is expensive and worth every penny. The food was exquisite and as expected the meat quality is what you hope for from Kobe (there are several places that are expensive with substandard food quality and service).

Kobe beef experience cost around 20.000 yen but its worth it for a once in a life. They are good at there job so just enjoy the show and chill.

The Kobe steak restuarant in Chuo-ku is a great place for late lunch or dinner. Food is a very good and also the atmoshere-
