Excellent experience. Waiters were very friendly and funny, very personal experience. Food was also very good and there was a very traditional atmosphere.

“An unforgettable Kyoto experience”
Yagenbori in Kyoto has impressed us since 2004 with its well crafted dishes and kind service. Our last september 2025 visit was memorable. We’re grateful for the experience and will return in the future

Fantastic Kaiseki meal! Me and my wife had the 10 course taster menu, which was delicious. They were very accommodating for our ten year old daughter who could choose from the a’ lacarte menu. Great waiters. Excellent service. After a terrible experience at Daia Kobe Beef in Asakusa Tokyo, where the...y over charged us, £150 for a sh!t bit of steak (avoid this place at all costs) this meal was just what we needed.
