“Excellent Yakitoriya.”
Staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is 100% great for a Yakitoriya. Yakitori here is so good, cooked perfect every time. I visit Osaka twice a year for three months each trip, and Gonbei is my place of choice to enjoy Yakitori.

“Not for non Japanese like me”
Yakitori is bland for me. I like salty yakitori. Expensive for a yakitori place. Probably coz it's an upscale place. Theres one waitress that can speak fluent english which is good. The grilled chicken pieces taste weird and is chewy.

“Grilled Chicken Lunch Set at JPY1,480”
The grilled chicken lunch set was nice, though not one that I would be eager to return for more. But at JPY1,480, I must say it was good value. See photos uploaded for the dishes included and the respective menu. If you are tired of beef shabu shabu or teppanyaki, sushi or sashimi, this could be a... better alternative.
