Stumbled upon this place while walking around Kitashinchi and it looked great! The staff were helpful with an English menu and no dramas ordering and explaining the items. The premium meats (Wagyu, Iberian pig and Hanamidori) were so tender and delicious! Great range of fried vegetables and meats on... offer.

I was pleasantly surprised with kushikatsu as I was never a fan of fried food. With the dip that taste a little sour make the fried food taste lighter. I am bought into it. We made a reservation for dinner at 5:30pm on a weekday. Crowd started around 6-6:30pm and we can only stay for 90 min. But I t...hink if you don't spend too much time wondering what to get, I think it's adequate. There were 3 levels in the restaurants and we were on the 3rd. Everyone is expected to order a set (I think there were 3-4 options) to start which comes with 4 side dishes to pick. After which you can add on by stick of whatever you like. There is no vegetarian selection so if you are a vegetarian, it's better to go with your friends who are not so that you can take their vegetable sticks while they take the meat/seafood from your set. There are quail egg, mochi, shrimp, cheese (2 types, camembert and mozzarella), chicken innards, potato, yams, onion, asparagus, lotus roots, fish, beef, chicken, etc. Lots to pick, so if you don't take innards, you can pick a set that doesn't come with it. Definitely a must try in Osaka !!

Located right in the middle of Kitashinchi, the center of nightlife in Osaka. This is a reasonable option to try "fried on a stick". They have a time restriction. 90 minutes is the longest you can stay at the restaurant. They want you ordered, eating and gone within this time frame. They do enfor...ce this during busy periods. It is really noisy / lively inside. Great place to drink and eat and have a good time but not a great place to have a conversation. As for the food, it is pretty good. Suggest you go for their sampler menu, you get the whole range from beef, pork, shrimp, squash, mochi to more exotic stuff like quail eggs and bennyhanna ginger (which is pretty good). All you can eat cabbage - with house dipping sauce. There are lots of signs in Japanese about the PROHIBITION OF DOUBLE DIPPING but if you can't read Japanese,.... There is probably a lot of double dipping going on. Which means that more than likely, someone else's mouth juices have probably being placed inside the dipping bowl and you are more than likely to have ingested it. They do not change the dipping bowl for each customer. That being said, it is still very good.

Great local food with friendly staff and clear English menu. Good instructions on how to use the dip ( if slightly interesting translation). The combo menu was a good way to taste the different things but the prawns, asparagus and quails eggs were clear winners. ( we didn't try the exclusive menu o...f wagyu beef, Iberian port and special chicken.) We didn't queue for long although have seen the queue come out of the restaurant down the street later on other evenings. Great value for delightful comfort food- I could have kept eating the prawns!
