“A Late Lunch”
The best way to try the Kobe Beef is to try the a la carte that way you can have the actual kobe beef with some sides such as a salad, soup and rice and something similar to sushi kobe. It best to make a booking in case they are busy but they do also accept walk ins . The waiter Louie? gave informa...tion all about the different cuts of beef and what would be suitable for a group of 8 people. He also showed us the menu so that could have an idea of what he was talking about. If you are ever in Kobe I would recommend coming here to try the Kobe Beef and then decide whether it is worthwhile.

“My Beef With Red One”
First, make a reservation—even with tables empty and not reserved, the restaurant expected you to make a reservation. The server was very descriptive of the offerings and continually upsold unless you are an experienced Kobe beef customer, order small portion and don’t get upsold like we did). We ...wanted the Kobe beef experience and trusted her guidance. The service was precise and descriptive. The Kobe beef was a shocking mouth feel, and virtually impossible to chew up and swallow. The chef noted our difficulties and asked for the beef so he could cook it more. At that time it was raw to rare and the fat evidenced no rendering. After re-fire to what I would call medium, the mouth feel and taste improved dramatically. I don’t know which level of cook was authentic, but believe from the server that the beef after re-fire was correct. Overall a disappointing and expensive lunch ($320 USD). The beer, set and sake were very good. This is a been there, done that experience that I will not repeat.

“Kobe beef tasting”
We had a Kobe beef tasting which was nice but extremely expensive. I would not do this again as the experience was not that great .

“Great meal at Kobe Beef Red One”
When in Kobe, you must eat Kobe beef! This restaurant had good reviews so we decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed. The waiter was very helpful explaining about the beef and sizes to order a the meal itself was perfect. The beef just melts in your mouth! Great place to stop for lu...nch or dinner. Highly recommend :)

“Wonderful place for kobe beef on the shopping street.”
We ordered an assortment of kobe beef. All delicious and very nice presentation. Service was excellent, very fast, good english. Price feels expensive but we liked it.
