“Fine”
It pains me to say that this location was average, because I love the ones in Shanghai and in Las Vegas. This location is on top of the Takashimaya department store, and it is small. The service was fine, but the xiao long bao was short on soup. Everything else was good. If you are familiar with Din... Tai Fung menu, you will be fine without English.

“Dining”
Setting and ambience better than main shop in Taipei. Dumplings roughly the same quality. But Taipei noodles seem to taste better.

“Best Dim Sum”
My family of 4 (2 adults, 1 teen, 1 6-yo) stopped in for a quick dim sum lunch. The wait was short and the service efficient. The dim sum was delicious. Everyone was happy with their food. The shrimp shumai and truffle xiao long bao are must-haves!

“It’s Din Dai Fung!”
This restaurant was packed with locals when we arrived. No one spoke English but everyone was very helpful and we were soon seated. Lots of gesticulating and pointing later, we received our steaming hot and very delicious dim sums. This is a Michelin star chain and the Taiwan standard applies univer...sally so you cannot really get a bad meal in Din Dai Fung. I use the truffle and pork xiao long bau as a yardstick and the ones in Osaka is comparable to the ones in Shanghai, Sydney and Singapore. The food is good here and reasonably priced. Just be patient with your server as English is minimal here and it can be frustrating getting your order across. If you are familiar with this chain, you’ll find it excellent.

“美味しい”
It's very fancy this restaurant. It's good but not same as Taiwan. とても美味しいが現地の味よりかは日本人好みに味付けされていると思います。全部とても美味しい！
