This restaurant is near the Nishiki market, down stairs from the unicorn statue. They have an extensive menu. I ordered okonomiyaki which was fine but not special.

Great fully Gluten-free restaurant in Kyoto. Difficult to find on side street but our taxi driver found it. Look for the white Unicorn above the stairway down to the basement location. Can only be seen coming from the west side so don't miss it. Incredible service and Japanese food in a private tab...le. Highly recommended especially when travelling with a gluten intolerant companion. No translations or communications issues in determining what is safe. Highly recommended. About a 12 min cab ride from Kyoto Station.

Totally Gluten Fee menu! A great find in Japan where a lot of the food is breaded in wheat or marinated in a type of soya sauce that contains gluten. We shared 4 very tasty dishes, but 3 would have been ample. Staff are friendly and lovely. Two more nights in Kyoto and we will be back again before... we move on.

Fantastic! Especially the oysters. The tofu is also amazing. It is completely gluten-free and the okonomiyaki are super. You can sit at the counter and watch the chef work their magic.

I wanted to try okonomyaki and this place had good reviews. What an absolute delight. Booking is a good idea as there are only seven seats at the bar overlooking the grill, but more out the back. We had squid and broccoli to share, and then pork yakiudon for her and the okonomyaki with pork, shrimp,... wagyu, etc for me. Wow, spectacular meals for us both. I have just found my new favourite meal. The lady next to me had the wagyu steak, and that looked really good too. The entire menu is gluten free, so another bonus. Highly recommended.
