Enjoy a very nice Belgian pale ale, various glass sizes available including a pint! Staff very nice, service very quick and attentive. Menu in English too. Enjoyed a couple of brews while staying out of the afternoon sun :)

Stumbled across this place while looking for an exotic wood store (¥200,000 up to ¥2,000,000++; I don't know why I torture myself...) and made a note to come back Sunday. Well, they are closed on Sundays, but Monday seemed like a good idea, so met a couple Japanese colleagues. Four of their own on... tap; out of one of the whites, but their amber in repeat mode was not disappointing. A little warm for the porter; maybe next time I am here in the winter. A sweet rack designed for a leg of prosciutto (not a stinking ham; a leg); tasty roast beast, really really good onion rings (I sat next to the box of huge onions they were slicing up, and we had seconds) a nice little dish of slice sliced chicken breast with fresh cilantro. The only nibble I was not crazy about was a fried chicken dish. Most little dishes were ¥450; the prosciutto was more and weighed out on a little scale 50gm at a time (a little less than 2oz). Did I mention the beer was "only" ¥700/pint, in a town where the tiny craft beer establishments routinely charge ¥1000-1250 before getting anywhere near the fancy stuff? My fear is word will get out, and I won't be able to get within 100 yards of it. I guess it will be my fault for launching it on TripAdvisor, after it's been open less than 2 moths...
