A good place to eat next to the castle that is also quite quiet and air conditioned. Located on the 2nd floor (accessed via staircase or lift) you can choose the buffet option (mains, desserts and hot and cold drinks) all for a set price or pay for specific meals. You can return to the buffet more t...han once and there was a wide range of hot and cold,meat and vegetable/salad options. You an also order alcohol for an extra cost. My wife is gluten-free (intolerance) and she ate well. The set price for the buffet is about 2,600 yen per person.

Good food and service. All food was nicely presented. The appetizer set was tasty; the sea bream was fresh and cooked nicely. The sakura pasta with its pink colour looked pretty and was delicious. The Kobe pork was tender and juicy. The food portion was a bit small though. The bread was warm and fre...sh. However, it would be better if the bread was served with the appetizer so that I could finished eating the appetizer mousse with the bread. It was nice that the server gave us additional bread but it did not come until after all the main courses completed and the plates were cleared. Ice coffee came with a cookie which was a good finish to the meal. Overall quite a delightful experience with good food and service, light music and comfortable seating despite heavy rainfall outside.

Amazing tasting food with a great location. Right next to Osaka castle, and so beautiful when the sun sets over the castle. I wanted to eat everything.

Located in the Imperial Shopping Centre in the Osaka Castle Park is this pleasantly set out restaurant. It was nicely decorated in neutral tones. The set menus were basically the same only varying by the number of courses. We went for the full five course lunch. The meal came out steadily over a nic...e hour and the portions were small which was ideal for the number of courses. We started with a potage which seemed to be a cream cauliflower and smoked salmon soup. The entrée was a mixed leaf salad with two large chunks of tuna sashimi. It did have a nice tomato salsa. Next was a lemon pasta with whitebait and it was done very well. Then was the main course which was a very small portion and was the only course we could pick from two options. We had one of each being mackerel with white asparagus, and beef cheek with polenta. The theme of this months’ menu was Italian. We finished off with dessert which was a green tea cheesecake. Perhaps the only slight let down being an Italian theme was that you could only get regular coffee as opposed to something barista made.
