“A pleasant surprise for a last minute reservation for NYE”
We hadn’t reserved a restaurant for NYE’s dinner and found this one near our hotel on the Hot Pepper app. We chose the ¥6,000 course with all-you-can drink for 150 minutes. The food was delicious and almost too much.

“Don't be hungry...”
On the positive side of things a good diversity of dishes... On the dark side of things we waited one hour and half to get them and then they arrived one by one... We went there for convenience... We will avoid by necessity....

“Great food, MASSIVE selection of beers.”
There was a great selection of beers which were all categorized by flavour, style of country, if I were to have one niggle its that they were a bit overpriced (900-1600¥) but understandable with them being imports. They had a choice of spanish/Italian dishes such as lots of mussels, pizza, ajillo... etc to which the beer could be appropriately matched. The food was really good, we all got pasta so I can't comment on anything else but it was amazing. The pasta was cooked al dente & the sauces had lots of oil, garlic and a good amount of sesoning. I had the salmon and spinach pasta: Butter, cream and salmon working together to give a rich, creamy/silky dish. We definitely will be going back again and encourage others to give it a try!

“A little piece of Belgium in the middle of Kyoto”
Tokisirazu aims to embody the Belgian spirit with fine dining and craft beer. Of course with the Japanese eye for perfection, Tokisirazu sets a new standard that I doubt the belgians can surpass. The owner serves and ensures the beer will go hand in hand with the meal. A little out of the way and se...emingly in the labyrinth of 4 story buildings, this is your diamond in the rough. Please do yourself a favor and grab a drink, but once that food passes by you'll be there for longer than expected.
