“Ohhh! Good coffee at last!”
Not to be rude about coffee in Japan, but it is hard to find a proper barista-made coffee in the Italian styles we are used to! So this was a lucky find for us and a good start to our day in Osaka as it really set the mood. We had planned to get breakfast in Osaka and once off the train, we star...ted wandering thorugh the station and shopping centre looking for a place like one of the bakery or patisserie chains you will see around. We had wandered through two buldings of shops that were pretty much closed at 9am and on the ground floor of the second we found CAFE Lab. Now this is a large open plan setting with tables and benches allowing you views out onto the street. USB and powerports are everywhere as are bookshelfs with a range of large format books on art and architecture. Front up to the counter and place your order. When you pay, you'll be given a table number. We got our coffee straight away as there was no queue and the food was brought out shortly after. Not many people at this time and service was fast. Breakfast wasthe now pretty standard boiled egg, perfect thick white toast and small dressed salad. It was all good and we ate in our own time with no need to rush and make space for the next customer. In fact, we relaxed over breafast and did some research on the ipad for what we would do that day. We can't tell you what lunch or dinner here is like and this was a weekend morning but if you're in the area, this would be my go-to for coffee.

“Cool design”
I was here for breakfast. The place is cool, there are differents types of tables, bar, couches. Is an open and well lighted place. The staff is really nice and helpful. The breakfast was western type. Good thing, they open early, since most of the restaurants opens at 11am.

“Convinient coffee place for business person”
My laptop was running out of electronic charge, so I immediately came here. The place was a bit crowded so it was too noisy to concentrate on something important.

“Lab tested numerous times”
Great local cafe with a reading theme and ipad minis on the benches. Good place for breakfast, tea and general relax on coffee.
