“Very disappointing for the price and poor ambience”
Disappointing for the price. Beef was nice but the meal was a let down. Atmosphere/ambience was poor. Service was fine but a big emphasis on the upsell and the (overly expensive) set meals. It feels like a tourist trap restaurant in an area surrounded by so many better options.

“Best Kobe Beef at Niyama in Kyoto”
We had an incredible time at Niyama, the Kobe and Wagyu beef were simply incredible, and the staff was super nice since arriving. Definitely will visit again! Very easy to locate and the restaurant vibe is very comfortable, thank you!

WOW that’s all i have to say, but i’ll go further by saying that these people are amazing at their service. Their beef is exquisite i cannot fathom how glad i was to find this spot on a whim after a 3 hour excursion up the fushimi anari shrine, i couldn’t be more happy to land myself here. I had thi...s beef experience with my group of 3 and i couldn’t be more content. Their excellent sake is a great choice if you appreciate drinks!

“Average beef”
Average - it’s ok but there is lots better. Not good value for money. If you want an average experience then it’s ok but if you know good beef then you’ll be a bit disappointed.
