“Wagyu & Kobe Deliciousness”
Delicious food! We ordered Kobe & Wagyu set with the original sauce and weren't disappointed. Relaxing vibe and friendly staff as well. Recommend!

“Pleasant Surprise, VIP Treatment”
At first I was expecting teppanyaki, but was seated upstairs by myself. I was confused at first since I heard noise downstairs, but turns out they went the extra mile and gave me excellent service. They showed me the cuts beforehand and had it delivered quickly. The best part (besides being deliciou...s) was the chef came up personally to ask me how it was and thank me. Amazing! I felt like a VIP guest. Definitely a landmark moment in my trip that started in Tokyo and ended up in kyoto. This was my first taste of Kyoto, figuratively and literally.

From the moment I walked into Niyama Kobe Beef in Kyoto, I knew I was in for something special. He showed ...each beautiful cut of beef before cooking it right in front of us with such precision and care. When I took the first bite… it honestly melted in my mouth. The flavor, tenderness, and perfect marbling were next-level — hands down the best beef I’ve ever tasted anywhere in the world. I also appreciated the attention to detail. The staff were incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English, explaining everything clearly and making us feel right at home. The sauces, sides, and even the rice were all perfectly balanced to complement the richness of the meat — not to mention the aroma that fills the room while the chef is grilling. Yes, it’s a splurge, but worth every yen. This is not just a meal; it’s an experience that captures what makes Kyoto dining so special — tradition, artistry, and unforgettable taste. If you’re in Kyoto and want to treat yourself, book a table at Niyama Kobe Beef. Go hungry, take your time, and enjoy every bite. I left with a big smile (and maybe a little food coma), already planning to come back next trip.
