“Delightful evening with Dan”
Loved the atmosphere...charming and intimate. The food was amazing. Firstly, I did not have a good experience eating wagyu at a restaurant in California and was a little apprehensive having it again...until Dan prepared the wagyu with a potato puree. Seriously, it just totally melted in your mout...h. The preparation was so delicious. The overall experience was amazing and the ingredients he used were all fresh. We look forward to coming back the next time we are in Kyoto. Dan, thank you for a delightful and enjoyable evening! Wish you were in Cali!

“Like watching an artist!”
Went for the omakase meal here. Very small restaurant with about 10 seats. The chef lived and worked in New York City but moved back to Kyoto and opened this place. He does everything for food preparation in front of you and it is fascinating. It is less expensive than other omakase in Kyoto or defi...nitely in Tokyo. Worth it!
