“An incredible experience”
It was an incredible experience, I loved every minute of it! The ambience is just lovely and the food I to die for. Can’t recommend it enough!

“Like watching an artist!”
Went for the omakase meal here. Very small restaurant with about 10 seats. The chef lived and worked in New York City but moved back to Kyoto and opened this place. He does everything for food preparation in front of you and it is fascinating. It is less expensive than other omakase in Kyoto or defi...nitely in Tokyo. Worth it!

“Do not hesitate. Go.”
If you have the chance do not hesitate. GO. Dan (Chef) and his wife are remarkable. The food is amazing. You will not regret a second. You will regret not going.

“Wonderful multi-course meal at this small restaurant”
Wonderful meal. Eight varied courses, featuring in-season ingredients, served at a nice gentle pace over three hours. Chef is fluent in English and fun to talk to as he prepared the meal in front of us. (There are just eight seats at a counter.) While not inexpensive, you could spend a lot more ...in Kyoto for a multi-course meal like this, and we thought it was excellent value.
