C:Grill enjoys a wonderful location with spectacular views over Osaka at night, creating a very pleasant setting for dinner. The restaurant itself is modern, comfortable, and the food was generally well prepared. The grilled dishes were enjoyable, and the wine list included some excellent choices. ...Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the surroundings. The most disappointing aspect of the evening was that our waiter, Sabin had to be asked three separate times to pour our wine. In a restaurant of this calibre and price level, this should happen naturally without guests having to repeatedly request such a basic element of service. The issue was not the delay itself but the lack of attentiveness. It interrupted the flow of the meal and made us feel overlooked rather than cared for. Good food and beautiful views can be found in many places, but attentive hospitality is what elevates a dining experience. Overall, C:Grill has a lot going for it, particularly the views and the quality of the cuisine, but the service on our visit fell short of the standards one would reasonably expect from a restaurant in this category.

After two weeks in Japan, this was by far our most enjoyable dining experience. Huge thanks to Leo Frankel and his team at C: Grill at the Conrad Osaka. The view was a wonderful backdrop and the staff exemplary. Having struggled with finding gluten free foods in various cities and towns in Japan, it... was thrilling to be served by wait staff who understood and a chef who made delicious dishes with no difficulties. A highlight for us. Thank you.

What an impressive start to my dining experience at the Conrad Osaka. Although I didn’t stay at the Conrad on this trip I had visited C:Grill and KURA on a few occasions. C/Grill being the first and I was not disappointed. The view was gorgeous and the food was deliciously matched. Staff was very at...tentive and great commendation to Yukiko-San, the Head Receptionist, who was so welcoming and a joyful conversationist. Thank you for making each of my meals at the Conrad so memorable.

Absolutely incredible experience. Sabin and the team made us feel like the most important people on the planet. The food was incredible, service amazing, experience perfect. Perfect way to spend our engagement dinner. We will be back! (One day).

Fantastic restaurant at Conrad Osaka. Modern grill with some amazing produce and hard to find Japanese ingredients. Presentation is truly beautiful and the service is top notch, food and wine knowledge was well above other hotels we have dined at. We will come back for more meals here.
