“I'm vegan and I love this place”
It was an amazing experience. Chef Obata is very kind and makes a delicius food for vegan and vegetarian as well. He prepers own, homemade ingredients, so his tempura tastes amazing. Exceptional service and performance. The restaurant is small, but cosy.

“Very nice experience, totally recommended”
A very small, intimate spot tucked away on the first floor of a townhouse along the street. There are just a few seats at the bar, where the Chef works his magic right in front of you. That’s what makes this place special — you don’t order from a menu. Instead, you discuss your preferences (for exam...ple, whether you’d like something with meat or vegetarian), and the Chef curates the experience for you. You get to watch as each dish is skillfully prepared and served, one by one. I’m usually not a fan of tempura, but here the technique truly brings out unique flavors. It’s also worth chatting with the Chef — he’s open, engaging, and eager to share insights about his craft. Altogether, it’s a delightful and uncommon dining experience.

“Amazing dinner!”
This was Ana amazing experience that we fell upon while wandering the alleyways in Osaka. Issei was a beautiful, humble and talented chef who wowed us with his food!

“Wonderful Tempura Omakase in Osaka”
Chef Obata made every ingredient shine - from the salt he made himself from kelp to the dashi based tencha and tempura. We had Chinese yam, angel shrimp, scallop, seasonal fish, fresh vegetables, each of which were fresh and delicious. He also prepared some fried scallop rings which paired perfectly... with sake. It was lovely to chat with Chef Obata while he prepared each course, and he kindly engaged our baby who was also interested in watching the master of his craft. Wonderful evening and worth the experience.

“Memorable tempura”
The best tempura I've ever had, essentially a tempura omakase. Chef Obata is an expert chef and exceedingly friendly and welcoming. If he has anago bones, ask for them fried as a salty and crunchy snack to pair with your beer. I can't recommend this memorable experience highly enough!
