“Great find”
Our hotel recommended this place and my husband and I loved it! It's small, very casual and rustic, and the chef/owner(?) does all of the cooking just behind the bar, which on one side has piles of bowls lining the top. We had a set menu for ¥4500 each, which includes one drink and consists of sever...al courses. We could select from a choice of fish and meat for two of the courses. I chose mackerel in soy sauce and cold 'boiled' chicken with wasabi sauce. The chicken was delicious. Dessert was pretty simple - soy beans and corn in a sweet syrup. Would recommend for a low key night out. At the end of the meal the owner came running outside after us and gave us a little bag of candy.
