A Happy Pancake in Umeda is a great stop if you’re looking for something sweet, fluffy, and very Japanese café-style while exploring Osaka. The pancakes were incredibly soft, light, and jiggly, with that soufflé-style texture that makes them feel completely different from regular pancakes. They wer...e beautifully presented, not too heavy, and perfect with the toppings and cream. The café itself had a relaxed atmosphere and worked well as a nice break from shopping, sightseeing, or walking around Umeda. It’s also in a convenient location, so it’s easy to add into an Osaka day without going too far out of the way. Definitely worth visiting if you love pancakes, desserts, or photogenic cafés. A great spot for couples, friends, or anyone wanting a cute and tasty café stop in Osaka.

A Happy Pancake is a Japanese dessert chain. This branch is at the vibrant Umeda area. Menu is simple with only a couple options. Cream cheese pancake with raspberry sauce is a rich and refreshing choice. Price is fair.

Waiting time (outside) as soon as they opened was 45 minutes. Once we got in we waited for another 30 minutes to get our drinks. We finally received our pancakes (waiting time alltogether 90 mns) which were good, but not ectraordinary, while waiting time was too long for the food experience. Moroeve...r, they don't bring the pancakes all at once, which is not ok if you're eating with a group. If you have time to spare and you are curious to try the soufle pamcakes, you could try them out..if in Kyoto, better try the pancake room in the Tokyo station, much better the experience :)

Really good light and fluffy pancakes. Good drinks as well. Would have given it a 5 if it wasn’t for the long wait. Waited about 30 min to get a table. But definitely worth a visit!
