“#OurFirst”
My love for ramen occurred the moment i had my very first bowl in Kyoto. Now it is like an obsession to try the many different types of ramen while i am here in Japan. What’s nice? 1. The cool way to order your food via a vending machine. 2. The cute lil private.. well not so private cubicles. 3.... You can actually customise your ramen to how strong or spicy you want your broth to be even the noodles from firm to soft. 4. The toilets... yes the toilets too are rather interesting. What wasn’t so nice? 1. 99% instructions are in Japanese and for first time goers like ourselves we were totally lost on what to do next when we got our seats and how to order our food. Luckily there was an youtube on this place but for the really first timers some guide on what to do next would be awesome. (The experience can be improved especially for us foreigners) Other then that.. just enjoy the experience and the food!

“Lovely experience”
It was a lovely experience - eating in the small cubicles / counters and the Ramen was one of the best we had on our trip. Easy on the pocket as well. Definitely recommend

“Best ramen ever!”
This was literally the best ramen that I have ever had in my entire life (and I have had a lot of ramen). They let you pick your own spice level, noodle hardness, thickness of broth, which made it just perfect. One other added bonus is that they are open all night. A friend and I went at 3am after ...a lame club experience. In addition, while you can have your own private cube, you can also take down the wall so you can sit next to a friend or a few friends. Or you can have a solitary experience if that's what you'd rather!

“Whats the fuss?”
There are several branches of this chain and we went to an Osaka branch. The queue was crazy at the main branch near the bridge. Thankfully we were directed to the smaller new branch few streets away. We waited for around 15 mins and were 'greeted' by self service ticket vending machines. There is a...bsolutely no service but plenty of people willing to wait patiently for their ramen. I really wonder what is the fuss? Perhaps its the novelty of customising your food? Almost every item is an optional one. Just for the touristy experience but another disappointment in terms of food quality.
