“Poor quality/price ratio”
Too expensive for what you get: Sashimi were medium quality, tempura ok, but nothing special. No complimentary water was served - which I found rude, after having been to Japan for 2 weeks, where it was served in every cafe and restaurant I have been. Cannot recommend this restaurant.

there was a special menu on when I visited, the food and service were good, however overall I consider it to be expensive for what you got.

“Unexpected visit with traditional Kyoto cuisine”
Simply walked around looking for a nice restaurant for dinner. Unexpectedly found this restaurant with traditional Japanese cuisine & the service was great as well. The set dinner was delicious with nice desert.

“A delicious finale to my stay in Japan”
Inspired by the Imperial cuisine of Kyoto, this restaurant specialises in tempura dishes. I had the 9 course tempura menu - food of great delicacy and beauty was served in a relaxed and punctual rhythm in a genuine Japanese setting. With several sake's to choose from this is your best bet the evenin...g before your departure from Japan to have a final go at all the Japanese delicacies. The pictures speak for themselves. Expensive? Yes. Value for money? Absolutely!

“Reasonable Japanese food”
This restaurant is in the Nikko airport hotel. The food was of fairly good quality but was quite expensive. The service was prompt and attentive.
