“There is always a line up”
There is always a lineup here. These folks specialize in okonomiyaki. This is a regional chain that is fairly well-known in the area. It was alright. Moderate price point. No complaints.

“Authentic Japanese food ”
Came here for dinner by chance. This place is popular with locals and foreigners who can understand Japanese menu, and is located near Umeda Station. English menu is not available. We had the green onion okonimiyaki (1250 yen) and the gyoza (580 yen). It is definitely more expensive than street food... but it’s something authentic you can find in the mall/subway. Worth giving it a try!

“Many variations of Okonomiyaki”
Okonomiyaki is a savory Japanese pancake with different toppings. This place had many varieties of Okonomiyaki. One was mixed with cabbage with a Kobe beef topping, another was filled with noodles, and another was topped with an egg. I recommend that you go during a late lunch because it can get ...crowded with smokers. Not a very friendly place, but good food.

“It's Botejyu, not Boteju”
Went as a couple. Only locals eat there, looks promising. Free ice water. The cooks is an old guy not very talkative but you can see he's the guru of okonomiyaki. The serving is big, we ordered an okonomiyaki and gyoza. Egg is fluffy and the serving is generous. Good example for Osaka okonomiyaki....
