“Outstanding food in a delightful setting”
La Cueillette is a beautiful little restaurant on a slope overlooking Nirasaki. It feels like a French provincial restaurant with a Japanese twist. The dining room is lovely, with lots of windows, wood, and porcelain. The owner and chef is often found in the dining room, checking with customers an...d describing the ingredients in the dishes. Very fresh ingredients, most locally sourced. The soups are outstanding and use interesting and unusual ingredients. The pork and beef melt in your mouth, and are served with delicious sauces. Lots of local and not-local wines to choose from. Everything is beautifully presented and impeccably garnished. The service is excellent. And, to finish it off, there are exquisite desserts. Simply delightful!
