This place was recommended by the Concierge at the Niko Hotel and was an easy walk. We were the only Tourists in the place and the food was spectacular. The Staff was friendly and helpful. (They knew a lot more English that we knew Japanese, so we appreciated the assist.) It is not a big place s...o getting in may be a challenge, but worth it.

Everything was amazing! One of our favorites in Japan. So delicious! We went with another couple and we all loved it! Sushi was like butter! Friendly staff

Eating at the bar we enjoyed fabulous dish after delicious dish, sashimi, tempura, octopus and eel. We felt like we were eating, despite the language barrier, with the chefs and delightful waitresses. Make this a must visit

I found this place on Tripadvisor and asked our hotel to book it for me as it was Saturday evening. It opens at 17:00 and that was the only time available- we were first in but some the place soon filled up with locals. It has only 8 seats. It doesn’t look like much from outside but don’t be fooled.... The staff spoke (broken) English and were welcoming and very friendly. There was an English menu available. Food was excellent. Freshly prepared in front of us and absolutely delicious. We chose from the daily specials menu and had wonderful tempura shrimp and grilled eel. Yum. Would definitely recommend, but make sure you book to avoid disappointment.

This small restaurant had perfectly cooked food, was friendly and helpful , tiny but comfortable. We mainly ordered from the daily menu, supplemented with choices from a la carte items. The freshest and delicious sashimi, corn tempura, perfectly grilled beef , light and fresh shrimp and fish tempu...ra, plenty of choice with two chefs who seems to enjoy cooking for us. A waitress spoke some English which was helpful. It was so good we returned the next night with new choices!
