Phenomenal meal. Absolutey outstanding. We had an assortment of different sides including the yellow tail sashimi which is quite possibly the best sashimi I've ever eaten. Everything looked divine and tasted even better. A must go if you are in Kanazawa.

During my trip to Kanazawa, I went to Coil and I found it was a very interesting and tasty experience. In here I made a sushis with the toppings of my choice (I had the possibility to choose five) and it is served in a box with multiple plates insides containing the suchi rice already prepared, the ...toppings...). One of the best toppings was definitely Notofugu (a famous food in Kanazawa). I also made my own matcha here, which was an amazing experience, especially considering it is done using pure matcha. Apart from food, the glass of Sake was great. Should you want to try making sushi by yourself, I recommend going for the coil set menu which makes your meal a nice experience. Also the service was amazing and the people in this place are very nice, even though I am not a Japanese speaker it was not a problem here since they are fluent in English. Also, it is well located as it is very close to Omicho market and Kanazawa train station.

This was truly one of the highlights of our time in Kanazawa! From the moment we arrived, we were treated with so much kindness and hospitality. The whole experience was incredibly well organized, fun, and genuinely special. We started by choosing five toppings from a wonderful selection of ingredi...ents — fish, meat, cheese, vegetables, and more — so everyone could create their own combinations. Then came the fun part: we were given beautiful boxes with all the ingredients, including the rice, and we got to prepare our own sushi step by step. It was such a fun and interactive way to learn more about Japanese food and culture. We also made onigiri and finished with a delicious tempura dish. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. And, of course, enjoying a traditional matcha tea was the perfect finishing touch. 🍵 What made the experience even more memorable was the warmth and friendliness of our hosts. They were incredibly attentive, patient, and welcoming throughout the whole activity. If you’re visiting Kanazawa, I highly recommend doing this experience. It’s much more than just a meal — it’s a fun, authentic, and memorable way to experience Japanese cuisine and culture. We loved every minute of it! 🇯🇵❤️
