This hidden gem was recommended to me by a friend. I was sitting at the counter and could observe how they prepared the food. They take excellent care and the food they served to me was one of the best I ever tasted in Japan. They can speak a little bit English. But communication is no problem. And... the selection of Sake is outstanding. I can really recommend this place.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel concierge, who made the reservation and selected the menu for us so it was all to our likings. We were seated at the counter which we really enjoyed as we could watch the chefs preparing the dishes. We had six courses including vegetables, sashimi, tempur...a, beef, miso, seasoned rice and a desert. All very nicely plated and of excellent taste. Staff was very friendly, they speak a little English and made an effort in explaining the dishes. We had a lovely evening.

We absolutely LOVED Yasaburo and found our way here when our hotel concierge recommended it as his favorite restaurant. The staff speaks very little English, so our concierge ordered for us in advance based on what we liked to eat and the cost we wanted to pay (around $125 total). We had an absolu...tely EPIC dinner with multiple delicious courses of fish, beef, and shellfish. The staff was wonderful in accommodating our lack of Japanese and worked so hard to make sure we had a nice experience. We simply loved this place. We even took photos with the chefs and servers afterwards. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
