We were travelling for four weeks in Japan and wanted to end our trip with some nice beef. The menu we chose tasted okay (not great and my Creme brûlée was burnt) and was quite expensive for nearly 10000 yen each. Also the meat was no revelation, we ate way better beef in the Hida region for less mo...ney. Additionally, the setup does not match the price at all. We had old worn down plastic placemats and cheap wooden one-use chopsticks. Also the bowls were not nice-looking. I experienced so much better facilities in cheaper places.

We were looking for great Japanaise meat in town and we found this little hidden gem. We had the best meat in our trip to Japan and not only, faboulous home made dessert. The service of the owner is great, and you really feel at home. Coming from Italy Milan we are very demanding but this place is ...really worth!

We had 2 nights in Hiroshima and after having the wagyu beef steak the first night we were so impressed we went back the next night and had one of the set menus. We were sat at the counter and could watch our meal being made on the hot plate and ask questions about it which was great. Enough English... is spoken by the pair that run the restaurant that we could work out what to order and what was being cooked. All in all our best meals in japan.

I searched for a long time where to eat in Hiroshima and found this wonderful place. The hardest thing was finding the entrance, but it worth it. It is very exciting to watch the work of the cook, the result is simply incredible. Probably the best dinner I've ever had

I wasnt happy with my visit for the following reasons: 1. Food was late. 2. The steak wasnt cooked well, it was cold on the inside. Never have I received a steak that was cold on the inside even though I usually order medium steaks. 3. I clearly informed the cook not to put either bacon or alcohol ...and I ended up with bacon on my sauteed veggies. For those who are used to high class dining, please stay away from this restaurant (more like a bar). Not to mention that its located in the red light district, which is a big indicition of the kind of quality and service you'll be receiving.
