“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars – Cascade Cafe - The People.”
My recent visit to ANA InterCon. turned out to be a memorable experience, thanks entirely to Mr. Shakti Rana. He greeted us personally and first escorted us to the Atrium Lounge, where we were served some excellent drinks. The ambiance was relaxing, and our interaction with Mr. Rana made it even be...tter. He’s not only warm and courteous but also incredibly knowledgeable about Japan, the hotel, and the overall F&B offerings. The conversation with him felt effortless and gave a great start to the evening. After our time at the lounge, Mr. Rana guided us to the Cascade Café for dinner. While I felt the overall food quality could definitely be improved and several dishes did not quite meet the standard expected from a property of this level, Mr. Rana made sure the experience didn’t fall flat. He personally took care of us, arranged some of the chef’s specialty dishes, and ensured we were comfortable and satisfied throughout. His proactive approach, attention to detail, and genuine care helped elevate what could have been an average dining experience. Even where the food needed improvement, the service and hospitality made all the difference. It’s rare to come across someone so committed to guest satisfaction. All credit goes to Mr. Rana for turning the visit into a positive and memorable experience. His professionalism, warmth, and dedication truly reflect what hospitality should be. We will be back for more hunger and a great conversation. Till then Sayonara... Keep up the Great Work.. People like you keep the place up and running.. You are a true asset to the organization.

“The perfect start to every day of our stay”
We stayed at the Intercontinental Tokyo for a week, and every single morning we were greeted and looked after by Matteus at Cascade Café. He is without doubt one of the kindest, warmest, and most helpful people we met in Japan. From the very first day, he made us feel completely welcome and at home.... Nothing was ever too much trouble — whether it was helping us with breakfast, offering thoughtful recommendations, or just making sure our day started on the best possible note. He consistently went above and beyond, and his genuine care and professionalism really stood out. Breakfast itself was excellent, but it was Matteus’ hospitality that made it truly memorable. We looked forward to seeing him every morning, and he became an important part of our experience in Tokyo. Thank you, Matteus, for making our mornings so special — you are a credit to the Intercontinental and to the Cascade Café.

“Very average ”
Tried the dinner buffet here the first time and was the last too. The seafood menu included fish cake, fried fly oyster, saute tuna's cheek with garlic, anglur fish and cuttle fish bouillabaisse, grilled scallop in miso sauce, clam chowder, fish head soup, smoke salmon, crab... Be frank, the food pr...ovided was not terrible but very average standard. Most of them were just warm or even cold. Nothing outstanding nor exceeded expectations. Only tap water, hot water and tea were free flow and included in the charge. Other beverages were at additional costs. If interested, please consider making a reservation online. There was a decent discount offer.

“Expensive Fish and Chips”
Very laid back atmosphere staff was very friendly. I had the fish and chips it was very good but the price wasn't worth it 2200 Yen for fish and chips was crazy. We has no choice but to eat at the hotel because there was a typhoon coming and we didn't want to get caught in it.
