“Japanese dining made easy.......”
Had earlier been beckoned in by a staff member touting for business so on our way back passed decided to give them a try. Really glad we did. Started off thinking it was going to be a bit too formal for us as upon entering, shoes come off. However, once you round the corner into the restaurant its s...o cozy and relaxed. Nice private booths, an electronic ordering system in English and great food. Staff do not speak great English but are patient and accommodating. A good dining experience.

“Easy to order for English speaking travellers”
It’s a little disarming when you enter. No English signage except “private dining”, a few steps and a wall of tiny lockers (for shoes). The staff we encountered did not speak any English, but after taking our shoes off and locking them away we were led to a private booth. We had a confusing exchan...ge with the waiter after which we realised we should use a tablet to order. With a little difficulty we figured out how to order food and drinks using the Japanese menu (then later found there was an English option). Drinks come quickly as does most of the food. You keep ordering on the tablet and then when done take your little clip-board to the counter to pay. Food was for the hot and tasty, although I did not like the skewers. The gyoza and ramen was great. As with many Japanese restaurants this was a smoking restaurant. We didn’t see any non-smoking location.

“Insane experience for tourists”
So, we walked into this place a little curious and a little nervous because no one seemed to speak any English. When we entered, we could hear some crazy noise from inside, but we didn't know what to expect because there was a rather formal looking reception room with a lot of lockers for shoes. We ...left our shoes in one of the lockers and entered to find a place that was so bursting with life and energy. Young people - and this was past midnight, mind you - going totally nuts, speaking loudly, screaming, having a real blast! There were people standing on chairs, there were just people catching up (looked like maybe after a long time)... The atmosphere was electric and casual at once. The best part - people just let you be. The food was good, and the alcohol was, well, alcohol. We had sake, got a bit woozy, and strolled back to our hotel. It is simply insane.

“be aware that they have an expensive service charge % (TABLE CHARGE)”
If you're going to this restaurant be aware that they have an expensive service charge % (TABLE CHARGE) that means, before you even eat someting you are already paying. There is nothing written anywhere about this charge. They will put an aptizer as a sinbolic excuse for this charge also. Don't eat ...it if you did not ordered. And don't go if you don't want to pay 22%+ for nothing.
