“Best steak/wagyu in Japan!”
I’ve been in Japan for about a week now, and have had several amazing meals. This one blows them all out of the water. The quality of meat is absolutely on another level, the servers are amazing, and the sides compliment everything perfectly. I’ll be in Kyoto a couple more days, and I am 1000% sure ...I’ll be coming back.

“Life-changing meal ✨🥩”
I don’t say this lightly: this was literally the best meal of my life. If you are anywhere near Kyoto, do yourself a favor and book a table at What’s Matsusaka Beef. We ordered the Special Set with Sukiyaki Sauce, which comes with four premium cuts of Matsusaka Wagyu (around 340g total, enough for ...two people). The beef was buttery and incredibly tender. We also had assorted vegetables and rice, which made a great addition to our meal. The service was outstanding — so kind, genuinely engaged, and helpful with every question. The atmosphere was cozy and intimate, with private booths (or stalls) for each party that made the experience more genuinely Japanese. I would give it 10 stars if I could! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

“Simply Delicious”
Sublime & Exquisite Japanese Beef that is an experience in itself. We opted for the ChateauBrian which was 3 different beef offerings from 3 regions in Japan. Needless to say all was simply delicious. We grilled the beef to perfection and to be honest it just melts in your mouth. It’s almost orgasmi...c. Divine taste that I would say is unequalled. I would advise anyone who wants a lovely authentic Japanese setting, private booths, and superb food to come and try. You will not regret it.

“5* Experience”
We were looking for a good wagyu beef location and all reviews led us to What’s! The reviews are absolutely correct. We not only had an amazing quality cut meal but Moeka and the staff were more than helpful and explaining everything we were enjoying. The quality of the food and passion of the staff... makes this a hands down winner!

“Best Meat Ever!!”
Best steak I’ve ever tasted. Amazing service, amazing food! Got one food super fast and it was so delicious. The employees are super nice and helpful. I highly recommend!
