“Terrible!”
Horrible. Raciones escasas, calidad pobre y comida sale de la cocina por fascículos. A evitar. Terrible! Portions are ridiculously small, quality is low and dishes come out one by one making the dining experience unacceptable. Avoid this place at all cost.

“Exceptional spanish food in a great atmosphere.”
British family of 4 with teenagers that stumbled across Bogavante one day, looking for lunch. We love Japanese food but thought we’d give it a try for a change. What a great find. Fabulous food, amazing service, great draught beer, and a lovely cosy atmosphere. The paella was the star. Probably the... best paella i’ve ever eaten and i’ve had many all over spain. All of the food we had was excellent and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. Go search it out…. you won’t be disappointed.

“Try the Prix Fixe”
A small Spanish restaurant. We celebrated our wedding anniversary here. The food was pretty good. Recommend the prix fixe. I believe there are a few different tiers to their prix fixe. We had the "A little decadent" prix fixe which consisted of 7 courses. We started with appetizers, not the t...raditional tapas, but they were still tasty. The champiñones ahijo was very, very good. Their fried fish was decent but nothing special, we did like their smoked duck and chicken, but we didn't like their lamb kabob and their Homard paella. A nice chocolate cake finish. What distracted us from this experience. They really need to wash the floor. It was very sticky. The walls are in need of a coat of paint. Our table was right beside the scuffed wall. Would we go again? I think so.

“A delightful find ”
The chef trained in Barcelona and brought all his knowledge back and opened this delightful little spot. Everything seems very authentic, tasty and served hot. We had a bottle of great Spanish Tempranillo- and a delightful mixture of food. If you need a change of cuisine I would highly recommend thi...s spot.

“El Bogavante”
We tried three times to get into this cosy taverna in our (temporary ) downtown Kyoto neighbourhood over the New Year period - and it was worth the wait. Fantastic, authentic and fresh food; excellent wine - great attention to detail. We ate tapas, prawn paella, salami, olives, salad and wine with ...Roija. After 5 days in Kyoto this was our favourite dinner! Yay!
