“High quality Blowfish restaurant ”
First time in Japan and we wanted to try Blowfish. This restaurant has a lot of history to it. One of the first to be licensed, the decor and presentation were excellent. Food quality was very good although if you don’t want Blowfish there’s a few other choices. Menus are normally set tasting menus.... Pricey, but worth it for the history and quality.

“Costly, but worth visiting”
Revisited for dinner during my stay in Tokyo. One of the best blowfish restaurants in Tokyo. Costly, but worth visiting.

“Exquisite Fugu Dinner”
One goes here for the fugu kaiseki dinner, period. This is an elegant place, with private rooms a outstanding service. The fugu sashimi is presented as a beautiful flower. The matching dishes, including the hot sake with roasted fugu fins. However, one needs to be aware that fine fugu dinners do ...not come cleaply. There a selection of menus but assume, with sake of course and a private room, a dinner to run 250+ euros per person. Worth it for the experience.

“Excellent restaurant - Fugu/ blowfish!”
We researched long and hard to find a restaurant to book to sample fugu/ blowfish in out time in Japan. We selected this restaurant and we were not disappointed at all! Website in English so very comfortable with our decision. Beautifully modern restaurant, fantastic customer service! We booked... about two months in advance and within those two months the staff contacted us (via email) to confirm our booking. Great stuff! The food. . We ordered the Yashima fugu course and loved each dish! We felt like we got great value for money as we were so full at the end of the course! Definitely the best dish in the soft roe, so silky in texture. I must say fugu does not have a very distinctive flavour, quite a plain white fleshed meat but hey I'm all up for trying all kinds of food! Our waitress was so delightful and she even rushed out to wave us goodbye (Japanese custom), so sweet and attentive. Highly recommend both the food and service if you're wanting to try fugu!
