We sat at the counter and enjoyed a wonderful dinner of local specialties including sashimi of sprats, snapper and arrow squid, as well as tempura of spring vegetables, tonkatsu and shabu shabu, all washed down with Kagoshima shochu. Wonderful service from the friendly, helpful staff. A fantastic ni...ght out!

Superb dinner. We visited twice: once the restaurant in the original location in the Tenmonkan area and second in the restaurant close to the Kagoshima Chuo station, east entrance. In both places the food was excellent: superb seared tuna, delicious yakitori with meat and fish, crispy tonkatsu pork,... miso oden stew and vegetable tempura as well as a great selection of shochu. Although restaurant was full, the service was attentive and fast. Language barrier was not a problem and prices were very logical.

Loved satsuma age. The soup with it was great. Sashimi was great. Beer was perfectly served. Great atmosphere for team dinner.
