“Amazing Place”
What a delight this place was! It is a father-son kaiseki restaurant in the Kyoto style right in Fukuoka! My favorite part was the red snapper sashimi, the matcha and the grain soup with rice.

“Zen-like meal ”
Run by a father and son. We were the only patrons at lunch during mid week. We picked a course of 21,000 jpy. It’s a very small space of only 8 seats, by the counter to watch the chefs prepare our meal. From start to finish the entire experience is rather meditative, with the elder chef making preci...se deliberate movements as he prepares our meal meticulously as one prepares for a tea ceremony. Tools used are all very simple, very basic. Ingredients are very fresh and the entire meal is almost Vegetarian. Tastes are very clear and clean. The 8-course meal ends with a superb matcha tea.
