Dynamic Kitchen & Bar Hibiki

I had a dinner in this restaurant during our business trip in Tokyo. I really enjoyed the place, the food, and the kindness of the employees. During our stay we were in a smoking room, and the employee in charge of our dinner was very very kind and professional. The food was just amazing also.

The food was delicious, fresh and well explained to the group. We selected only fish and vegetable dishes and were not disappointed. The view was truly spectacular and the decor of the restaurant was very elegant and tasteful. The only disappointment was the fact that the toilets were outside an...d not particularly clean.

Even before entering you will probably notice the most run down and dirty restroom in Japan, and this on the 49th floor of a major building from one of Japans biggest companies. Not even a curtain to hide it. Bon Apetit. Once in side, Hibiki, a great whisky made by the Suntory group served me a very... good beer in a tooth wash glass. Now, I know the Hibiki Izekaya's, they used to be great, but they have lost the plot completely. Charging me 900 yen per person, "table charge ", really did it for me. At lunch they have a buffet at 1100 yen per person, no table charge. At dinner, sitting at the counter with no view, I get to pay 1800 yen, for the pleasure of spending my money with them. Bye bye , never again

Located in busy Shinjuku but worth the visit. Food is good. For non-smokers, request for non-smoking area. Japanese whisky a must.

Good fine restaurant runs by famous japanese Whiskey brand. Nice design with reasonable room area. You wont feel uncomfortable while having meal. Price are good and reasonable with such good standard. I am sitting at bar table, Chef Service is excellent. But waitress/waiter are very slow. It ...is good if you wanna have a fine dinner with friends to enjoy a good evening.
