“Great Food!!”
After a full day walking at the Ueno Zoo we explored the area and found this restaurant. What attracted us to this place was the food they showed in their windows. It looked sooo good. It was about a 20mins wait, but well worth it. We ordered a few dishes like: beef bowl w/ rice and miso soup, seaf...ood soup, shrimp tempura and ramen. We would def eat here again. Close to Ueno Station and Ginza Subway line.

“Difficult start”
We started our journey in Japan with this typical local restaurant. If you are not Japanese it is difficult to explore the menu, lucky to have pictures. My disch ( kind of noodles ) was covered with a kind of Ghostbusters gel and didn't taste very well. Maybe my mistake to start with something to di...fferent that I am used off ?

Located in a convenient location off of the train station, this restaurant offers good food with great service!

“Mediocre to decent”
We stopped in here for lunch and had the omakase 10-piece kushiage and a bowl of buta-don. Kushi-age was overly oily but otherwise fine. The accompanying cabbage salads had a weird dressing. Buta-don was pretty good but not particularly outstanding. Overall, based on our lunch, I think you can... do much better in the general area.

“Amazing omurice!!”
We were looking for a place where we could eat omurice near Ueno Park. My wife found this place and I’m really happy she did. The omurice with curry and Tonkatsu were amazing!! The staff is really friendly too. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great food near Ueno Par...k!
