“unsatisfactory”
Was here with a group of friends, and we were probably lured in by the buffet option, which promised unlimited amounts of rice, naan, and whatever curry options were available. I ordered ala carte chicken tandoori instead, which was an acceptable portion but somewhat dry. The lime squash was bland l...ike the flavour of sparkling water, neither sour nor sweet. I also got a garlic salad, but they served potato leaves (?) instead of spinach as was stated on the menu outside. Whatever vegetable it was, I didn’t enjoy it. I liked the fluffiness and sweetness of the naan, however. My total bill came up to about 2000 yen, and when I asked for the receipt to cross-check the prices, the cashier informed me there were no receipts given because my friends and I were splitting the bill. I’ve not had such a response at previous restaurants where we did the same thing. It’s not great hospitality. I’ve had better food and service. I wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you have a sudden intense craving for Indian cuisine at that particular moment, and would be willing to settle.

“Superb and quick buffet”
While in a rush from meeting to meeting i saw the way to the Mantra in the Sky building where the YCAT is also located. It was a really busy place but even though I was alone they found me a place. I chose the 9USD buffet which had 4 curries including a spicy one( egg curry that day) The Chicken, mi...xed vegetables and spinach and paneer were added to with salads and raita and dessert. Rice and nan were unlimited too I found this very satisfying and quick,I also ordered a lassi and tandoori tikka which were both very good I quite liked this place for its good food and prompt service

“Good Value, Bad Service”
Quite impressive giant long naan and good value if you like "authentic" style Indian food. Lunch specials are only about 900 yen and you can eat a buffet for 980 yen. The place does get full from business people during lunch hour, but shouldn't be a problem going in at other times. This is my fau...lt, but we had a party of 3. 2 were late, but the worker said it'll be alright and welcomed me in. After that, he kept coming back every 3-5 mins asking where my other guests are. I apologized and the worker did not say anything and looked unhappy. Sorry! 15 mins in, I was getting paranoid from them coming back, that we moved to a smaller table. My mistake, but this could've been handled in a friendlier way. Food was good. Naan was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Plenty of rice and curry. If you for some reason, want to try Indian food while ?you're in Japan? go for it :) I left with a negative feeling so I'm definitely not coming back.

“Average food, Pathetic hospitality !!”
One star is also given for the name but the fact is they don’t even deserve that...I have never given a 1 star rating to an indian restaurant but in this one I’m compelled to do so...Nepali waiters are just good for nothing...they don’t know anything about the indian hospitality...they don’t know ho...w to greet, they can smile and jump around Japanese guests...a very average chicken tikka masala which had boiled chicken and already cooked gravy...roti was soft and good (the only good part)....heights was when I asked for some onions...the waiter said that would be charged extra...I was even fine with that....but what they served and then billed was a mood spoiler....a whopping 300 yen for a sliced onion and billed as snacks...there is nothing indian about this place!! Seriously not recommended for indians!!

“Family holiday”
There were 7 people in our party (including a 2 year old). We turned up on spec without a reservation on a Friday night and had no problems getting a table. The food was good and the staff were friendly.
