Food was average, quite expensive. However the manager was awful, we had a small issue and rather than resolve it in an amicable manner her just threatened the police. Really bad . This restaurant needs some customer service training so different to anything we experienced in the whole of our Japa...nese trip where the people are just kind and friendly

Possibly we were unfortunate in our menu choices but the food we had was totally uninspired. The fish dish smelt very fishy (off) and the sizzling beef was definitively not beef. We are beef farmers and we know how beef should taste and what the texture should be. However, the staff were lovely but ...we will not be returning.

My Japanese friend recommended Jogenro out of all the places in Chinatown. Is not possible to get dropped off from a taxi right outside because Chinatown here is car free. However our taxi got very close - within 50 metres. It’s a grand looking restaurant and because out hotel concierge made a b...ooking (recommended), they were waiting for us and gave us a lovely booth. There are set menus but I recommend the a la carte which isn’t expensive. I had a memorable fried rice with lettuce and crab - very subtle and totally delicious. It was a total JP¥7,000 for the two of us including drinks which is much less expensive than the website suggests. We also had excellent service. Highly recommended.

I have been here many times over the last 13 years and it is always great. Courteous and efficient staff, nice relaxed atmosphere and most importantly great food. There is a wide range of top quality Chinese dishes complemented by a range of drinks.

Yep, we were lucky to get this place in China Town. A maze of restaurants and this stood out. Clean and excellent service. 2 mains and noodles and the 2 of us were full. Recommend!
