“Crowded but good”
At a corner of Ueno Park, this Japanese restaurant seems to attract a lot of diners. The interior is nice and cozy. There are regular tables and private rooms where you take off your shoes. We were there for lunch. It was a good thing we were early, because we didnt have a reservation. And their se...ating chart was almost filled up already. When we finished lunch, there was a line outside as well. The food is great. My dad commented that it was impressive that the food served looked exactly like the menu photos. Wait staff know english and there are english translations on the menu for non-Japanese speakers. Great experience and so close to Ueno station and the park.

“Very nice lunch”
After visiting the National Museum, which is closely, we went here for lunch. It was a very nice lunch. Everything was nicely prepared, and very tasty. The service was also very good. The only reason it isn't rated excellent is that there are so many excellent restaurants in Tokyo it is difficult... to compete. Definitely worth a visit is you are in the area of Ueno park and looking for something to eat.

“OTO OTO VALUE FOR MONEY AND GOOD SERVICE”
This place tucked in the upper floors of the Bamboo Garden, away from the hustle and bustle of the Ueno Station next door. The food serve here is authentic yet the price tag is so reasonable. The food arrives quickly as you order and they are neat when presented. Fully recommended for a quiet meal a...lthough some locals were seen drinking away at the table next to us. No problem with that as everyone are enjoying the good ambient and good food. Big serving too.
