“Best Tandoori Chicken ”
I ordered the "Tandoori chicken meal". The meal deal came with 2 pieces of Tandoori chicken, a choice of curry dish (I chose the Chicken Tikki masala), a petite salad, saffron rice, and Butter naan (I got an exchange for garlic naan). The tandoori chicken was tender and had a hint of yogurt tas...te which added a nice complement of flavor. The masala was full of flavor and not too salty. The naan was hot had lots of minced garlic which I adore. I could have easily given a "5" for rating if there had not been some service issues. First, let me say the waiter was very friendly and addressed my concerns graciously and expeditiously. That being said, the meal took a bit of time to prepare and bring to my table. Then, my platter (contains all of the different items of the meal deal) was missing the rice and garlic naan. I think maybe the service was having an off evening or moment. As a final note, I enjoyed the flavor and portion size. The friendliness and courtesy gave me the impression they care about keeping the customer satisfied.

“Great dinner”
Dined at this restaurant last week when visiting Tokyo. We had an excellent meal, the staff were friendly and attentive. The prices were reasonable. I would recommend Mother India to anyone who is loom king for a good Indian meal.

“Dins in tokyo”
Just arrived, walked past on our way to our hotel... Looked good so we went back later to eat. Food good, service good. Best Indian we have had in Japan. There was some spice heat. Ingredient quality good. Would visit again if we had time in town.

“Not so good but not so bad neither”
As I like indian dishes and I often come to visit this area to see Kabuki, Bunraku Play at National Theater, I had a lunch here today as before I could only find several chinese dishes only. Price is slightly expensive but that may be because of the area. I had a US$10 lunch set consisting of choi...ce of two types of curries( I picked up lamb and spinach), tandori chicken, nan, safran rice, small plate of salad and a drink. Curries seems mixture of indian and Japanese so Japanese would like them. I might try again. For your information, Nan and Safran rice can be ordered many times without paying extra.

“Overpriced and Underportioned”
We went to this restaurant with high expectations based on a couple of online reviews. It failed to meet them. An entree order of chicken saag had three small pieces of chicken, the rice served seemed to be Japanese rather than a decent pilau, and the beer too was served in a minuscule glass. At lea...st the naan was decent, though nothing special. Oh, and our dishes were served seemingly at random rather than in a coordinated way. Since there are other Indian restaurants in this area, I'd advise trying them instead.
