Ikkyu is a tiny sushi ya on the 4th floor of the Barneys building. The sushi is really very very good. The chef has his own distinct way of serving the various types of tuna. He marinades the tuna with soy sauce before making the sushi piece. All the tuna cuts are simply delicious here. There are di...fferent lunch sets but it is also possible to have omakase at lunch. For omakase it is about 25,000 Yen per person.

My wife and I were in Ginza looking for a place to eat and found this sushi place in one of the random alleys. The place was not busy, but it was the best sushi I ever had! The staff was amazing and the atmosphere was nice and quiet.

Have never had sushi this good. I mean, we eat sushi every week here in Chicago. We go to some of the finest here....Ikkyu by far was the best we've ever had!!!! Amazing, delicious and the sushi chef was super friendly and prepared everything like it was a masterpiece. Go here!!

It's all about the sushi in this place no glitz no glamour! The fish on the other hand it is amazing the attention to detail is like nothing you've ever seen. Simple clean and delicious.
