Each and every day starts from harvesting our home-grown vegetables to welcome one group of guests a day. Kobikicho Oono is a renowned tea house and restaurant where customers enjoy quintessential hospitality through tea ceremony.
Tea ceremony with “Chakaiseki” course dishes is a new style of tea gathering originated in “Chanoyu” (the traditional simplest Japanese tea ceremony).
It is a culinary expression of the Japanese culture that stipulates attention to details from the food ingredients used to prepare the cuisine, the dishes the cuisine is served in, to the flower adorning the room; an act of sincere devotion to both the customer and their cuisine. Based on the owner's concept to offer a solicitous, refined dining experience to customers in an informal, relaxing setting, we accept only one group reservation per day.
Customers are welcome to enjoy an at-home, relaxing dining experience without any hesitation despite not knowing any of the detailed mannerisms, followed by weak tea served in the tea room to enjoy the lingering aftertaste.
