“Sensational Seafood Lunch”
We traveled from Shinjuku to Kashiwa to visit our relatives. They took us to a seafood restaurant called Isomaru Suisan. Although it was non descript and no frills, the venue offfered fresh, live seafood which you can catch and grill on the table hibachi. We had a large but tender squid, the sweetes...t scallops and a variety of other shellfish cooked in their own juices. Delicious! Sometimes simple is best. Fortunately, there are many branches of this restaurant all over Japan and as their sign says, “English menu available”. Start ordering!
