I had a terrible visit here, definitely the worst experience on this trip to Japan. I had asked the waiter multiple times to make sure that the ¥50,000 yen combo was for four people and enough for all four of us. He had reassured every time that what I said was correct, that there are around 28-30~ ...pieces of meat (which is still minimal considering that it is a $360 combo), that there are going to be one bowl of cold noodles for every person. Later, a plate including 3 pieces of sea bass, some small Japanese fish, and a cake-like cube made out of aloe. Not long after, my friend came back after looking at the check and told us that it cost ¥200,000 yen, meaning that the waiter ordered 4 combo without telling us that was the case. Then we told them that since we ate what is on the table already, we can pay for those but we would cancel the rest and leave. They later came with two options: one being paying a ¥26,000 yen check, consisting of the four plates, ¥800 yen water, and four tiny size tomato beverages that they claim to be #1 in Japan; the second being only paying ¥50,000 yen for one combo for all four people, which has 6-7 pieces of meat in total. When we left, there were no waiters to guide the way and no one was there except for the manager. This is a complete scam and has left an extremely unpleasant impression on Tokyo and Japan.
