“Great Indian food!”
Loved it and will return! Had some daal soup and chana masala. The quality and taste was fantastic. The restaurant was very busy with great staff. Highly recommend!

“Wouldn’t go back”
We had seen people queuing outside for a table at lunchtime so immediately thought this was the place for a good curry. We visited for an evening meal but were very disappointed. The menu is limited. The food was bland and uninspiring. No pickles or dips with the popadom s. I’m quite surprised t...his place has been going for so many years. They’re clearly getting something right. Not sure what it is though? The staff are friendly, the space is cosy and the beer chilled. Overall an expensive, disappointing meal.

“A local institution”
This is clearly a local institution, celebrating its 70th birthday. The menu was limited in options. The service was friendly but the premises very cramped and a little dusty. I had an edible but not interesting meal. I would not rush back.

“Good food with decent ambience”
I stayed in a hotel very close to Nair's restaurant and was very happy to eat lunch on my 1st day. this is a 70+-year-old restaurant opened by AK Nair ( Indian Freedom Fighter). the ambiance is not posh but the food is good enough to mask the need for a posh ambiance. the waiters serve the meat debo...ned at the table which is a nice gesture for Japanese people struggling to handle Indian food. to my dismay, I was the only Indian eating there and the other fellow customers were all Japanese. the Japanese love Indian food and Nair's is a very popular restaurant in Tokyo. The menu is limited, maybe less than 15 items to choose from but the quality will not disappoint you. I ate thrice and my favorite is chicken masala with rice. Once there was a long queue and I couldn't get a table for 15 minutes. then I decided to do a takeaway order which was ready in a jiffy. enjoyed the yummy food in my hotel room. Even my Japanese colleagues are fond of Nair.

“Good find ”
Quite popular among locals. Chicken - daal-rice very popular. Chicken masala was also good. Established almost 70 years ago & still maintaining quality. Recommended for authentic Kerala food.
