Ise Sueyoshi

It is a privilege to have dined at Ise Sueyoshi with Chef Yuki-san. I made dinner reservations for June and had the most unforgettable, well-crafted, and sincerely the best food that I have ever experienced anywhere in the world. Chef Yuki made us feel welcomed into his intimate dining experience ...with personal stories about his home prefecture and the amazing seasonal foods that are offered for late spring/summer (we went in June but the menu is seasonal). Each dish was crafted with so much care and expertise to bring out the full flavor and body of each meal. From the venison, wagyu beef, the vegetables, and seafood gave you a glimpse of the feeling of summer in Japan. The sake pairings were chosen with such care and really enhanced the meal to a higher level. I would highly recommend getting the sake pairing with your meal to get the full enjoyment of each seasonal dish. After the meal, we had an amazing conversation with Chef Yuki and we departed with an amazing experience, photos, and a pair of hinoki kimasu to commemorate our time at Ise Sueyoshi. We are planning our next trip back in the fall and we cannot wait to see what the seasonal menu will be. Thank you for taking care of us Chef Yuki-san. We look forward to dining with you again!

My husband and I had a wonderful evening dining here, and it was truly one of the highlights of our Japan trip! Chef and his team were fantastic. The food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. My favorite was the puffer fish dish. You can really sense how passionate the team is about what they do.... I loved learning about where the ingredients were sourced, and it was neat having a front row seat to the food preparation. My husband is vegetarian, and they were kindly able to accomodate his dietary restrictions. Would highly recommend!

I had a wonderful dinner in this small and very welcoming restaurant. Very friendly staff, a chef who is very nice, speaks good english (vrey important for me) and personally explains all dishes and the sake pairing. The food was ecxellent, if not better, leaving no wishes open, and the sake choice...s very a perfect match fp each of the dishes. The service started right on time (so be on time of you go there), and the price is just right for what you get, with the current exchange rate even favourable.
