It was an unacceptable and a total disappointed experience! Staffs were not helpful! They showed unpleasant face to us when we asked for help. I felt like me and other friends got discriminated by their staffs! I would not recommend this restaurant at all even though their foods were nice!

We don't really eat raw food so we tried mostly cooked food. Horsetail hairy crab is the limelight of the day. We had steamed crab, crab hotpot, crab porridge, sea urchin rice and grilled pork. The crab are fresh and delicious. The crab hotpot is our favourite. You can taste the sweetness of the cra...b on the lightly seasoned soup. We finished till the last drop of the soup. Steamed crab is also nice but it's slightly too cold as we prefer hot food. Sea urchin rice is the least preferred. Worth the try. Quiet restaurant at the heart of Susukino.

On the first evening of our first visit to Sapporo, the reception at our hotel recommended this Izakaya just across the road from the hotel. Judging from the busy environment, this must have been a local favourite. We ordered a draft beer (a very refreshing beer ice floats on top), a mixed sashimi a...nd a fried udon. Both dishes were good and the price was very reasonable. We liked the sashimi better as the ingredients were really fresh. As with most non street level restaurants (which we experienced during the stay) in the area, English is not the best language to use but mostly manageable.
